Community Solar in East Harlem
WE ACT for Environmental Justice is proud to bring community solar to Northern Manhattan. WE ACT’s mission is to build healthy communities by ensuring that people of color and/or low-income residents participate meaningfully in the creation of sound and fair environmental health and protection policies and practices. Through a partnership with NYCHA, the Community Power solar installations have been built on the roof of three NYCHA developments, including the Carver campus in East Harlem, Manhattan. See pictures of the project below!
